Family Tree Crafts

What's the joy of doing family research without sharing what you have found! So this page is dedicated to the different ways I have creatively displayed my research. For more ideas, check out our Facebook page: Genealogy Addicts Anonymous Arts & Crafts.

Family Charm Bracelets
These are Generation/Family Charm bracelets. I have made these for the past few years and sold them to friends and family. Sadly, the heart charms have been discontinued, so I had to stop making the bracelets. These are just a few pictures of some of the ones I made.

Family Tree Display
When we lived in our apartment, I had to come up with a creative way to display all the photos I had of my family. One day, I saw this in a store and the idea just popped into my head. To read about the progress and see the different stages of this project, view my album on facebook here:

50th Anniversary Memory Frame
This idea came about when I found the newspaper article mentioning my great-grandparents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. I remembered I had a little figurine that was given to me by my Aunt Patty that was from that event, so I contacted her for more information. She provided a photo and program from that day as well. So I decided to make a Memory Frame for this event.

I also decided to record a video of me creating this frame for my YouTube Channel.

Greeting Card Book
I was trying to figure out what to do with all the greeting cards we have received over the years, and came across this idea on Pinterest. But I didn't try it until I found the cards my parents received when they got married. So I decided to make a special gift for them. Unfortunately, Dad passed away before I could give it to both of them, so I surprised Mom with it instead. She loved it! So, are you looking for something to do with YOUR greeting cards? Here you go!

This project took a while to complete, so I broke it up into two separate videos. One for the inside, and one for the outside.

Memorial Collage
I've made a few collages throughout the years. This one was to honor my dad's work with the VFW. He started the local post in Eureka and was a member until he passed away. He had a passion for helping people. There are so many items in my dad's collection that I decided to put together a memorial frame to hang in my living room.

This is just a sample of a collage you can make to honor a person, organization, event, period of time, hobby, etc. What collages have you made?

I explain in more detail in the video what I included, why, and how. Some items are too big to display, so I shared a few tips on what you should do.
